Location: Khalifa Economic Zones Abu‑Dhabi (KEZAD), Abu Dhabi, UAE 

Building Area: 24,000 m² single‑story heavy‑steel frame workshop. Eaves height:13.5 m, maximum clear span:30 m. 

Function: Heavy‑duty machinery assembly & fabrication workshop, equipped with two sets of 32‑ton overhead cranes for heavy‑equipment production. 

Total Steel Consumption: 2,280 tons (95 kg per square meter). Main steel grade Q355B, hot‑dip galvanizing for anti‑corrosion, engineered for desert high‑wind and salt‑fog environment, complying with UAE local codes and AISC standards.

Project Timeline

• Design & local authority drawing approval: 3.5 months
• Steel component prefabrication in China factory: 4 months
• Ocean freight + on‑site civil foundation works: 2.5 months
• Steel erection, cladding, fire‑proofing & anti‑corrosion works: 5 months
• Final inspection & hand‑over: 0.5 months

Total Project Duration: 15.5 months, taking local administrative approval and summer high‑temperature construction restrictions into consideration.

Project Description Located within KEZAD industrial zone, this heavy‑steel workshop serves heavy‑manufacturing demands for the Gulf region. Designed to resist desert strong wind, high temperature and coastal salt‑fog corrosion. Guoyu Steel Structure delivered full‑scope service including structural design, shop fabrication and export of steel components, cooperating with local partners for site erection. Equipped with heavy‑capacity crane system, the facility supports large‑size machinery assembly, serving the regional industrial supply chain.
